In mid-October 2014, Preferred Materials, Inc. began a 4-mile resurfacing project of Pelican Bay Blvd. in Naples, FL.
Preferred Materials, Inc recently supplied over 6000 cubic yards of our specialty product DrainReady for use in the beach parking lots on Siesta Key.
Preferred Materials Concrete Division in Orlando recently completed a unique 30 million dollar student housing development near the UCF campus.
Project started May 2012. Prince Contracting was awarded this $54M FDOT project, and selected Preferred Materials to supply over 65K tons of asphalt, and 6K yd3 of concrete.
Lee County project completed May 2013. Cost was near $4M, and included 1 mile of widening from 4 Lane to 6 Lane, along with other site upgrades.
Madison County Project completed in 2011. Cost was over $4M, included 17K tons, and won the 2012 ACAF Urban Resurfacing Award (Statewide).
Lee County project completed in 2013. Included over 10K yd3 of FormReady concrete customized to meet a very specific flow rate in order to meet strict specifications.
Duval County project completed May 2011. Cost was over $5M, included 31K tons of FAA asphalt, and won the 2012 ACAF Special Project District 2 Award.
Alachua County project completed June 2012. Cost was over $4M, included 36K tons of asphalt, and won the 2013 ACAF Rural Resurfacing Award (Statewide).
Duval County project completed November 2010. Preferred Materials, FDOT, CEI RS&H CS, Superior Construction, and PB Americas wins ACI Award.
Alachua County project completed May 2012. Cost was $2M, included over 16K tons of asphalt, and won the 2013 ACAF Urban Resurfacing Award for District 2.
Pinellas County project completd in 2010. Included 400+ yd3 of PlaceReady concrete customized to address several placement challenges for the contractor.
Hillsborough County project completed 2011. Curb Systems selects ColorReady concrete customized to meet very specific colors and finishes, while providing extra time for workability.
Pinellas County project completed May 2011. Included 1200 yd3 of PlaceReady concrete customized to deliver superior quality and lower placement costs.
